Hosted by award-winning broadcaster and comedian, Steven J. Bull, WATER WAYS is an entirely fresh boating and lifestyle program designed specifically with boaters in mind. On the show, you'll travel to incredible locations, get exclusive looks at fantastic boats, and meet some amazing people along the journey. Anything from kayaks to yachts - if you're floating, you're boating! (And we'll probably be there to share the story)
A pilot season was shot, primarily in Ontario (Canada) in the summer of 2022. It began online, then was aired on Global TV (in the province of Ontario). Season 2 debuted on Global TV in six Canadian provinces in September 2023 and expanded nationally on Sportsman Channel Canada as of January 1, 2024. In January 2024, at the 25th Canadian Safe Boating Awards, Water Ways received "Best Media Contribution to Safety" honours.
Water Ways: Ontario debuted in 2024 as the proof-of-concept for the rollout of regionally-focussed content. Leveraging our production leadership and quality to tell local stories.

He's also an award-winning broadcaster with a decade-and-a-half of experience on three continents. He's worked as a news reporter, a sports host (including during the 2020/2022 Olympics) and co-hosted PowerBoat Television for five years.
He was the Sports Host for the Canadian Screen Award-winning "Morning Live with Heather Hiscox" on CBC News Network (Best Morning Show 2022).
His "Behind The Rings" limited-series of radio min-docs on off-the-beaten path stories and anecdotes of the Olympics won the RTDNA Award for "Excellence in Sports Reporting"
And at the 25th Canadian Safe Boating Awards banquet at the National Yacht Club in Toronto, Water Ways TV + Steve were awarded "Best Media Contribution to Safety" honours.

Hiscox has won awards and the show itself was named "Best Morning Show" by the Canadian Screen Awards in 2022 thanks to their Olympic Coverage for which Steve was the Sports Host. Working with a big team is the only thing he says misses about not being allowed to wear flip flops to work.
